Peter’s Coffee Company was established by a group of international experts as a high quality gourmet roaster, where the whole process is managed by a team of dedicated professionals, led by our Founder and Chairman, Mr. Peter Weckström.

With more than 20 years international experience in buying, blending and roasting great coffees, Peter is widely recognized as one of the true masters of coffee roasting and has, amongst many notable achievements, roasted specialty coffees for a former U.S. President and two Presidents of Finland.

Peter specifically chose Thailand as the base of operations in order to be near renowned sources of crops such as Java and Sumatra, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand. We also import select fine raw beans from Africa, and Central and South America as well, and export our coffee products worldwide.

Raw Coffee

Selection is the first step of starting the roasting process and we select our raw coffee beans from different countries around the world and only the best of the crop from each country. Often this search is daunting and requires a weathered expert to know how to find and buy only the best qualities.

If we don´t get the best, we wait. We never compromise on quality when selecting our raw beans. We then store our raw, green beans in the ideal environment to ensure they retain their quality until the roasting takes place. This includes maintaining the correctly controlled humidity and temperature and also sterile conditions. Thus, the green coffee is in perfect condition when going to the roaster, which is vital to producing great coffee roasts and blends.

Roasting Process

Our hot air roaster is a unique and ideal roasting process, which produces perfect roasting results without baking or burning the beans. Our beans are roasted cleanly and tenderly producing very aromatic and accurate blends. Every bean quality has its own optimal roasting temperature, which we adhere to in order to optimize each and every roast.

Peter has created the new unique roasting technique, which “confines” the coffee aroma inside the bean throughout the process. After roasting we pack the beans immediately to preserve the aromas and integrity of each coffee before sending the fresh roasted results direct to the customer.

Brewing Coffee

When making good coffee, always use cold and fresh water.

If possible, grind the beans just before making your coffee.

Use 7 to 8 grams of ground coffee for one cup of coffee (125 ml).

The ideal brewing method is to press the coffee with a French Press.

Preserving Coffee

Purchase your coffee only for one week´s consumption at a time. If you have purchased more, you can freeze the remaining until needed. Coffee will be always ready to be brewed directly from your freezer – no need to thaw first.
